We currently have two shows:

1.) Spirit of the Ren - The Lost Woods Dancers invite you to rest in their camp, where weary travelers are welcomed with lively dances and stories. Led by a quick-witted Camp Leader, enjoy a curious haven of characters, including the roguish Sybil, laundry-loving Lyra, and flower-obsessed Mira. But beware! This forest is home to a mysterious Water Jinniya (Spirit), who stirs up playful chaos and challenges the travelers to complete a series of tasks.

Enhanced by live Middle Eastern instruments, including the Arabic qanun and the Turkish darbuka, the Lost Woods Dancers blend humor, mystery, and MENAT (Middle East, North Africa, Turkey) dances in a captivating tale of magic and mischief. Suitable for all ages, this interactive performance invites festival-goers to step into a world of spirited adventure and morality.

  • Cast for one performance include: 1 actor, 4 dancers and 2 musicians
  • Type: Family Friendly
  • Props: fan veils and a splashing water bucket (sometimes balance swords)

2.) Chosen By Freya / Valin Af Freya - is a Dance, Music, and Myth show influenced by Nordic Folk, Celtic Metal, and MENAT (Middle East, North Africa, Turkey) music. Utilizing medieval instruments such as the taglharpe, qanun, various drums and percussion, to explore a theme centered on Norse mythology.

Freya’s Valkyries have been sent to your festival to “claim” warriors during a recent Viking invasion/ raid. Freya presides over Folkvang - the realm of the afterlife and is given the privilege of first choosing half of the slain warriors to reside in her hall, Sessrúmnir.

Join Valin af Freya as they gather the valiant fallen warriors (audience members). Let them guide you through the realms to cross the Bifrost into Folkvang, meet Freya and be welcomed into Sessrúmnir.

  • Performance would include 4 dancers and 2 musicians.
  • Type: Family Friendly ages 8 and up
  • Props: 6 ft. flags and fan veils
